March 9, 2024 Mass Tarot: IRL (In Real Life) Tarot Divination Hacks

IRL Tarot: Divination Hacks to Read the Tarot in Everything, Everywhere

Can you read the tarot without a deck? Definitely! Come to this super interactive tarot workshop to learn how you can read the cards in everything from flocks of birds to the letters of your name. You’ll come away with the tools to expand your tarot divination to signs from the real world.

First, we’ll cover the 4-1-1 on basic correspondences and how to use them in tarot readings

Then, we’ll do a warm-up with your tarot “soul” card, your card of the year, and the cards that correspond with your name.

Next, we’ll break into groups for seriously fun activities practicing using correspondence to interpret literally anything using the tarot, including a scavenger hunt into the library for oracular realness!

Come prepared with pen and paper, have a tarot deck handy, and be ready to have some fun!

Rachel Teferet (xe/they/she) is a writer, artist, herbalist, dreamer, lover of the witchy, and moon howler. They run Teferet Tarot and Astrology (launching this spring!) and have been practicing psychic and intuitive magic since trees first talked to them in childhood dreams. They are writing multiple dark fantasy books for young people and can often be found walking a cute border collie on the bike trail.

Mass Tarot, 1/6/24: Wheel of the Year Spread

Please join us on Saturday, 1/6/24 from 1pm to 3pm at the Lily Library in Florence for our first tarot meet-up of 2024! Carolyn will be leading us through the annual Wheel of the Year Spread, where she creates special opportunities for us to review past happenings, interpret or perhaps manifest future happenings, and utilize the Wheel of the Year spread in a way that works for you. Her tarot expertise and empathetic nature will guide us to journey the calendar together, and she adds new twists each year, so even if you have experienced this practice with us before, this time may be just a little different. Please note this session draws a lot of members so space will be tight. If you have a compact deck, that is helpful to save table space. Please be on time so you don’t miss any introductions or instructions. Hope to see you there!

*A few minor notes on etiquette for this meeting and all meetings going forward: Please keep your responses brief when sharing if the group is large, so everyone’s voices may be heard. Please be respectful of the person speaking. Side conversations and interrupting are discouraged. Please be aware that some folks may not feel comfortable with copious swearing and TMI conversation. Let’s try to be polite so everyone feels comfortable. I hope no one finds this too restrictive, our aim is simply to have meetings feel safe and inviting to all.
