Mary Greer’s: What Every Tarot Newbie Should Know About …” Posts

Mary Greer has been asking questions on her Facebook page and then compiling them into these great summaries.

The first one was What Every Newbie Tarot Reader Should Know with contributions from over 60 Tarot folks.

She followed up with What Every Newbie Tarot Reader Should Know About the History and Myths of Tarot.  I (Carolyn here) was proud to have made a contribution!

Like all things Mary does, this is great stuff!

MetroWest Tarot

There’s a Tarot group meeting on the eastern side of Massachusetts, just west of Boston, that calls itself MetroWest Tarot. It’s headed up by Chanah Liora. Here’s a link where you can sign up to hear about their activities.

About Our Study Group Book: 21 Ways to Read a Tarot Card

21-ways-tarotMary Greer is a favorite and fabulous Tarot writer so it made  sense to us organizers  to pick her 21 Ways To Read a Tarot Card as a guide for our first study group.  If you are unfamiliar with Mary or her work, you can check out her blog and in particular her post about what motivated her to write the book. Its follow by a whole host of intersting comments about how others have used her book in groups.
