Robert Place’s book: The Fool’s Journey, The History, Art and Symbolism of the Tarot

Attention deck collectors and those interested in the art of tarot (who isn’t?)!  i just received my copy of The Fool’s Journey by Robert Place and am here to rave about it.

This book is a mini museum chock full of luscious color photography of fabulous old and new cards, including Place’s superbly illustrated decks: the  Annotated Tarot of the Sevenfold Mystery and The Alchemical Tarot. A beautiful resource book, the selections illustrate the evolution of tarot art and symbolism, and offers  a glimpse into resources and information off the beaten track.
